摘要: The purpose of this study was to evaluate changes in biomarker and synovial parameters following autologous osteochondral transplantation (AOT) the equine stifle joint, test hypothesis whether would show significant differences at selected time points surgery (at days 3, 14, 60 180) compared baseline level day 0). Synovial fluid (SF) evaluated 4, 180. Data analysed by two-way repeated- measures analysis variance (ANOVA), P < 0.05 considered significant. During first 10-14 after surgery, lameness degree 2-3/5 [American Association Equine Practitioners (AAEP) scores] present, which disappeared days. Joints with showed increases white blood cell count (WBC), total protein (TP), substance P, C1,2C CS846 epitope concentration 3 shamoperated (P 0.05). These returned values two months remained within normal levels 6 postoperatively.
