摘要: This article explores the productive role of provocation in YouTube publics context two culturally and geographically situated visual events that took place New Zealand throughout 2011. Through qualitative analysis extensive comments fields for videos, examines nature participatory acts associated with what has been called at different times flaming, hating or trolling. The argues such can only be properly understood within their cultural geographic ability to affect extend ‘agonistic’ publics. addresses online passion, conflict vitriol through notion ‘acts citizenship’, as forms provocation.
