Soft template interfacial growth of novel ultralong polypyrrole nanowires for electrochemical energy storage

摘要: a b s t r c In this paper, novel ultralong interconnected polypyrrole (PPy) nanowires were synthesized by an interfacial reaction of pyrrole in organic phase and ammonium persulfate aqueous using cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) as soft template. The morphology prepared PPy was investigated field emission scanning electron microscopy transmission microscopy. electrochemical performance evaluated electrode materials for electrochem- ical capacitor the means cyclic voltammetry, galvanostatic charge/discharge impedance spectroscopy. It shown that size can be option- ally controlled varying concentration CTAB phase, played crucial role improving performances nanowire at high rate. presence 6.25 ∼ 12.5 mM CTAB, bonded with spherical nanoparticles perfectly prepared. diameter range 20 to 100 nm length up about several micrometers. A higher specific capacitance obtained 328.7 F g −1 current density 0.3 . 75.7% initial retained even after 600 cycles 1.0 g−1.
