摘要: Background As every healthcare intervention carries some risk of harm, clinical decision making needs to be supported by a systematic assessment the balance benefit harm. A review that considers only favourable outcomes an intervention, without also assessing adverse effects, can mislead introducing bias favouring intervention. Much current guidance on reviews is directed towards evaluation effectiveness; but this differs in important ways from methods used safety and tolerability intervention. detailed discussion why, how when include effects review, required.
