摘要: Endotoxins are common indoor biocontaminants. Their levels have been shown to link many sources and factors. One of them is cockroach infestation but the role cockroaches contamination mechanisms unclear. We hypothesized that not only a sign poor hygiene, it also contributes endotoxins via fecal contamination. In this study, different species were caught in homes. The endotoxin allergen their ratios feces determined. To estimate amount originated from cockroaches, new approach using these compare with environmental data was employed. found Supella (S.) longipalpa, Periplaneta (P.) australasiae, Blattella (B.) germanica dominant On average, P. australasiae had higher level greater variation endotoxins. B. highest allergens measured. Depending on bacterial load type present, environment may vary greatly. Cockroaches directly contribute rather than just being hygiene. extent should be taken into consideration when assessing remediating
