摘要: Abstract Japanese quail (Coturnix c. japonica) were fed 0, 2, 4, 8, 16, and 32 p.p.m. Hg as mercuric chloride (HgCl2) from the time of hatching up to age 1 year. None birds manifested any gross signs mercury poisoning. Food consumption, growth rate, weight maintenance unaffected. Initial oviposition tended occur at a younger dietary increased, e.g., median which egg laying began among hens was 6 days than for controls.
