摘要: Previous studies have suggested that neu differentiation factor (NDF), a member of the neuregulin (NRG) family growth factors, may regulate development PNS and CNS glial cells. There is limited information concerning potential role NDF on neonatal (immature) oligodendrocytes (OLG) into adult OLG. We now report effect two major isoform families (NDF alpha beta) cultured rat Immunocytochemical western blot analyses OLG using anti-erb-B antibodies revealed these immature express all four members NRG (erb-B) receptors. Treatment with varying concentrations either or beta did not mitogenic Pretreatment isoforms also influence subsequent mitogenicity other known mitogens. However, treatment influenced survival cells by protecting from apoptosis. Additionally, resulted in more extensive process formation compared to control, non-treated
