摘要: Neutral ecological theory comes in two flavors—a two-stage model with space implicit and a spatially explicit version. Reconciliation of the flavors has proven problematic. Panmixis, an assumption model, is neither realistic for nor supported by tropical forest trees. However, versions, stochastic species input local communities still necessary to retain high richness. A unified biodiversity must include both stochasticity relevant mechanisms.
