摘要: In many environmental and conservation policy contexts, gaps are observed between objectives implementation outcomes. Carbon farming policies designed to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions, but success depends on the participation of land managers their adoption alternative management practices. We surveyed Western Australian farmers gauge knowledge carbon farming, current practices, identified drivers barriers adoption. Drivers for included perception co-benefits (for yield, productivity, environment); beliefs attitudes about climate change its causes. Key adopting practices political uncertainty, on-farm characteristics. conclude that, increase participation, productivity benefits must be actively promoted easy integrate into existing systems.
