摘要: Nanoparticles aggregation is considered, by the heat transfer community, as one of main factors responsible for observed enhancement in thermal conductivity nanofluids. To gain a better insight into veracity this claim, we experimentally investigated influence nanoparticles induced changing pH value or imposing magnetic field on water-based The results showed that TiO2–water nanofluid, due to pH-induced TiO2 nanoparticles, fell within ±10% mixture theory, while applying an external force Fe3O4–water nanofluid led enhancements up 167%. It believed low because, near isoelectric point (IEP), could settle out suspension form large aggregates making rather unstable. however provide finer control over aggregate size and growth direction without compromising stability hence significantly enhancing nanofluid.
