摘要: A series of host-sensitized and color-tunable CaWO4:Tb3+,Eu3+ phosphors were prepared via a high-temperature solid-state reaction route, the crystal structure luminescence properties, especially energy transfer behavior, investigated in detail. Under UV radiation, CaWO4 host presents broad emission band from about 320 to 600 nm centered around 415 nm, ascribed charge WO42− groups; while Eu3+ Tb3+ ion doped samples show both respective lines derived characteristic f–f transitions activators, which present abundant colors owing an efficient Eu3+/Tb3+ ions. The was evidenced by directly observing appreciable overlap between excitation spectrum Eu3+/Tb3+, as well decreased decay time with increasing concentration. mechanisms CaWO4:Eu3+/Tb3+ have been determined be resonant type dipole–dipole interaction. In co-doped system, CaWO4:Eu3+,Tb3+, phenomenon not only occurs but also Eu3+, resulting including white light simply adjusting doping concentration PL properties as-prepared materials indicate their promising application lighting fields.
