摘要: Traumatic brain injury (TBI) remains one of the leading causes injury-related deaths in industrialized countries, accounting for 26% all trauma-associated USA (between 17 and 25 per 100,000 residents) [1, 2]. Of 2 million people who sustain TBI each year, approximately 70,000 to 90,000 will suffer from long-term disability with dramatic impacts on life individuals their families enormous socio-economic costs [3]. damage is a result direct (immediate mechanical disruption tissue, or primary injury) indirect (secondary delayed) mechanisms.
