摘要: By employing a laser-Doppler flowmeter, an investigation was performed to determine whether ultrasound causes change in regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF). rCBF neonatal rats (age: 2-6 days postgestation) measured before, during, and after exposure of both hemispheres continuous-wave (1.0 MHz) at intensity 2.0 W/cm2 (SATA) for period 5 min. After 3 min treatment, there statistically significant augmentation (p less than 0.05) with increasing by factor 2.7 +/- 0.4 (mean SEM) ultrasound. This response demonstrated be transient effect, because returned its original value 4-6 termination the treatment.
