摘要: The 2008 Wenchuan earthquake (Ms = 8.0; epicenter located at 31.0° N, 103.4° E), with a focal depth of 19.0 km was triggered by the reactivation Longmenshan fault in County, Sichuan Province, China on 12 May 2008. This directly caused more than 15,000 geohazards form landslides, rockfalls, and debris flows which resulted about 20,000 deaths. It also 10,000 potential geohazard sites, especially for reflecting susceptibility high steep slopes mountainous areas affected earthquake. Landslide occurrence mountain ridges peaks indicated that seismic shaking amplified topography. Thirty-three high-risk landslide lakes dam heights greater 10 m were classified into four levels: extremely risk, medium low risk. levels created comprehensively analyzing capacity lakes, height dams, composition structure materials blocked rivers. In area 300 long wide along main fault, there lots landslides earthquake, these have common characteristic discontinuous but flat sliding surface. failure surfaces can be following three types based their overall shape: concave, convex, terraced. Field evidences illustrated vertical component ground had significant effect both building collapse generation. motion records show acceleration is horizontal, must larger 1.0 g some parts fault. Two are discussed as speed runout cases. One Chengxi Beichuan other Donghekou Qingchuan County. each case, process its impact people property analyzed. killed 1,600 destroyed numerous houses. complex landslide–debris flow runout. scoured bank Qingjiang River length 2,400 subsequently formed dam. buried seven villages 400 people.
