摘要: GSTM1 and GSTT1 gene polymorphisms have been studied in many populations to evaluate their association with prostate cancer risk contrasting results. The current study was aimed find out the of Pakistani men. This case control included pathologically confirmed patients age matched male controls. Epidemiological data collected by a standard questionnaire presence or absence observed multiplex PCR using CYP1A1 as housekeeping gene. Prostate more prevalent >60 years most were at stage IV (70 %) undergone surgery. Family history cancer, smoking, metastasis surgery found be significant (P 0.05) risk. No when comparing (OR=0.78) (OR=0.89) deletions Smoking TNM staging also not associated deletion genes. Comparison dual null both genes showed nonsignificant associations. Deletion significantly higher compared other stages while no significance shown deletion. GSTM1, do contribute towards increased population.
