Correlation of general anxiety and dental anxiety in children aged 3 to 5 years: A clinical survey.

摘要: Background: The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence dental anxiety in a group children aged 3 5 years and explore relationships between general fearful nature child. Materials & Methods: A total 250 were selected for after due selection via inclusion criteria. Pre-school scale by Spence Rapee (1999) used assess fear child filled parent during first visit. Venham’s which seen routine examination on his Results: results statistically analyzed using Chi square test Karl Pearson coefficient correlation. Conclusion: It concluded that 24% showed association high level fear; 56% also exhibited with moderate score 20% positive correlation low fear.
