摘要: Abstract This research uses a location analysis approach for selecting aircraft alert sites the defense of important national areas interest identified by US Department Defense. Solutions are generated in two step where minimum number is first using set covering problem and then result improved finding aggregate network distance or p-median solution from alternate optimal solutions to LSCP. also identifies p-center ensuring equitable response all interest. Sensitivity performed determine impact altering launch flying times on required amount coverage provided fewer locations. Results indicate significant increase locations needed comparison original military estimates. The points out implications about future base closure decisions trade-offs between cost emergency.
