摘要: This study explored (a) whether gamblers' coping styles could successfully predict problem gambling within a poker machine playing population across Victoria; and (b) adding motivational factors to the prediction model comprising style variables improve of gambling. One hundred eighty-nine gamblers (108 males, 81 females) aged between 18 65 years (Male M = 33.13, SD 11.32; females 34.08, 13.58) completed questionnaires demographic questions, version South Oaks Gambling Screen (Lesieur & Blume, 1993), Coping Scale for Adults (Frydenberg Lewis, Maroondah Assessment Profile Problem (G-MAP) (Loughnan, Pierce, Sagris-Desmond, 1999). Multiple regression analyses revealed that sex, marital occupational status, four significantly predicted by accounting 28.1% variance.
