摘要: Abstract Objective To measure health care professional students' attitudes toward international experiential learning and the role of pharmacists on an interprofessional experience (IIE). Methods An electronic survey instrument was distributed to all students from Midwestern University Colleges Osteopathic Medicine, Pharmacy, Dental Optometry, Podiatric Medicine participating in IIE Guatemala between 2010 2013. Results Of 64 participants, 49 (77%) responded survey. Overall, ratings their ability learn curricular outcomes improved. The most improvement seen with student's sense civic social responsibility, intermediate Spanish-speaking ( p = 0.03), female 0.06), who initially felt would not change values/beliefs 0.06). Interdisciplinary collaboration rated valuable aspect (79%). Pharmacists were deemed be accessible educators (61%) are important part team (42%). Conclusion IIEs expand students, improve promote optimal environment for education development.
