摘要: A method for detecting and treating ventricular tachyrhythmias of a patient's heart includes the steps selectively dividing rate continuum into regions including at least two classes tachycardia, contiguous to each other progressively higher ranges, lowest highest tachycardia being bounded respectively by sinus region fibrillation continuum; adjusting boundaries between those respective regions, correspondingly adjust ranges classes; cardiac events anywhere within distinguishing normal abnormal tachycardias among detected events; with any multiplicity therapy regimens differing degrees aggressiveness, toward terminating tachycardia; improvement preventing, during events, classification response atrial as reentrant tachycardia.
