摘要: Aims: To assess the potential impact of control subject-based modifiable risk factors on periodontitis. Background: Cross-sectional and longitudinal data from epidemiological research indicate that can be identified and, if modified, may improve both periodontal conditions outcome treatment. Material Methods: A search was conducted to identify involved in etiology pathogenesis diseases. The were separated into non-modifiable, further analyzed. Results: analysis limited influence remaining factors. It observed most subject related hitherto not validated controlled intervention studies. Therefore, evidence for efficacy factor had based results cohort While periodontitis tested, some suggested smoking cessation retard progression periodontitis.
