摘要: Coxsackievirus A6 (CV-A6), coxsackievirus A16 (CV-A16) and enterovirus 71 (EV-A71) were the major enteroviruses causing nationwide hand, foot mouth disease (HFMD) epidemics in Singapore last decade. We estimated basic reproduction number (R 0) of these to obtain a better understanding their transmission dynamics. merged records cases from HFMD outbreaks reported between 2007 2012 with laboratory results virological surveillance. R 0 was based on cumulative initial growth phase each outbreak associated particular type. A total 33 selected inclusion criteria specified for our study, which five CV-A6, 13 CV-A16, 15 EV-A71. The median be 5·04 [interquartile range (IQR) 3·57-5·16] 2·42 (IQR 1·85-3·36) 3·50 2·36-4·53) not significantly infected children (P = 0·86), exposed 0·94), duration 0·05). These enterovirus-specific estimates will helpful providing insights into potential future timely implementation control measures, together dynamics such as severity cases.
