摘要: ABSTRACTSeveral new comb-like stereoregular cyclolinear methylsiloxane copolymers exhibiting the self-assembling behaviour have been designed and studied. For resulting macromolecular materials, chiral mesogenic unit, namely (S)-(–)-4-[1-ethoxycarbonyl)ethoxycarbonyl]phenyl-4′-[11-tetramethyldisiloxyl)-undecenyloxy)-biphenyl-4′-carboxylate, has used as a side group to assure mesomorphic behaviour. The structural properties were studied by polarising optical microscopy, differential scanning calorimetry small-/wide-angle X-ray diffraction techniques. form orthogonal smectic A* tilted C* phases over relatively broad temperature range, down room temperatures. obtained results are discussed in order contribute better understanding of molecular architecture–nano-organisation relationship for specific type system based on lactic acid derivatives flexible groups.
