摘要: Cardiac atrial appendage stem cells (CASCs) show extraordinary myocardial differentiation properties, making them ideal candidates for regeneration. However, since the myocardium is a highly vascularized tissue, revascularization of ischemic infarct area essential functional repair. Therefore, this study assessed if CASCs contribute to cardiac angiogenesis via paracrine mechanisms. First, it was demonstrated that produce and secrete high levels numerous angiogenic growth factors, including vascular endothelial factor (VEGF), endothelin-1 (ET-1) insulin-like binding protein 3 (IGFBP-3). Functional in vitro assays with human microvascular cell line (HMEC-1) CASC CM showed promote proliferation, migration tube formation, most important steps process. Addition inhibitory antibodies against identified factors could significantly reduce these effects, indicating their importance CASC-induced neovascularization. The potential also confirmed chorioallantoic membrane assay, demonstrating blood vessel formation vivo. In conclusion, shows not only induce repair by cardiomyogenic differentiation, but stimulate mechanisms. properties further strengthen therapeutic make an optimal source treatment heart disease.
