摘要: The relationships of eight extant species sea eagles (genus Haliaeetus) and some potentially related Accipitrid genera were investigated. A phylogenetic hypothesis is developed based on morphological characters allozyme data, which then contrasted with a reconstruction 1071 nucleotides mitochondrial DNA (cytochrome b part one tRNA gene). Phylogenies derived from the three data sets are largely congruent, although several aspects supported by only kind evidence (but not contradicted others). Only regard to position south-east Asian H. leucogaster its closely sister sanfordi was there conflict between mtDNA data. pelagicus relative leucoryphus or albicilla/leucocephalus could be resolved sequence suggesting that speciation events occurred in relatively quick succession during early Pliocene late Miocene periods. Available suggests originated at tropical latitudes, northernmost appearing most derived.
