摘要: Abstract 1. Using economic data from three locations in Australia nutrient densities were compared laying diets which either minimised the daily cost of feeding a hen or maximised profit. 2. The effects density on rate production and egg weight examined using published to show that, within range chosen for analysis, did not significantly (P < 0#lb05) affect lay but was positively correlated (P< 0#lb01) with weight. 3. Nutrient profit higher than those food cost. 4. Averaged over locations, maximum achieved at 11#lb80 MJ/kg 11*57 minimise 5. Food most profitable $2#lb00 per tonne resulting slightly higher.
