摘要: There is controversy about whether the lack of response some chronic pain to opioid treatment absolute or relative. It widely believed that nociceptive responsive opioids whereas neuropathic tends not be. We have used a method patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) with simultaneous nurse-observer measurement analgesia, mood, and adverse effects address these issues. Ten patients were given morphine at two concentrations (10 30 mg/ml) by PCA in separate sessions double-blind randomised crossover study. Before study clinical judgment was made as each neuropathic. Seven showed good analgesic responses (more than 70 mm relief on visual-analogue scale) rest, poor (less relief), one moderate both (30-70 relief). The consistent (greater faster higher concentration) nine patients. Two had movement responded moderately low-concentration well concentration. All pains judged be compared half those pain. no evidence due changes mood. This quick efficient tool determine consistency response. Such can guide clinician continued higher-dose will produce analgesia. An inconsistent points use other pain-relieving strategies.
