摘要: Abstract Muscari turcicum, endemic to south Anatolia, Turkey, represents an unexplored crop plant, with potential therapeutic uses related its phytochemical composition. In this work, the in vitro antioxidant and enzyme inhibitory activity of flower, leaf bulb extracts, obtained using different extraction methods were evaluated. A comprehensive polyphenolic sesquiterpene lactones profiling extracts was also undertaken. For purpose, UHPLC-QTOF mass spectrometry allowed us putatively annotate 280 compounds which 162 polyphenols 118 lactones. The most abundant flavonoids (77 compounds), phenolic acids (34 low molecular weight phenols (38 compounds). turcicum methanol extract possessed highest concentrations low-molecular-weight phenolics, acids, (20.61, 7.00, 3.44 mg standard equivalent/g, respectively). water M. flower by infusion showed prominent reducing (120.52 mg Trolox equivalent [TE]/g mg TE/g for both CUPRAC FRAP) radical scavenging (91.39 mg TE/g, DPPH assay). Besides, (13.44 mg EDTA equivalent/g) metal chelating activity. Interestingly, Soxhlet maceration actively inhibited tyrosinase (129.36 mg kojic acid cholinesterases (5.15 mg galantamine [GALAE]/g 6.16 mg GALAE/g, acetyl butyryl cholinesterase) respectively.
