Tuberculous abscesses of the cervical spine with quadriparesis.

摘要: Four cases of tuberculosis the cervical spine with quadriparesis either from subluxation, and/or compression spinal cord are described. Our surgical approach has been laminectomy excision abscess and fusion. Pre post operative traction Crutchfield tongs on Stryker beds was employed in three four cases. Excision these abscesses fusion, following improvement nutritional status adjunctive chemotherapy, can reverse paralysis patients. Three our patients recovered.
