摘要: This chapter deals with peripheral mechanisms that lead to local muscle pain and describes diseases exhibit this type of pain. Local is due excitation nociceptors (so-called nociceptive pain; other forms such as radiculopathic or CNS lesions can occur without activation nociceptors). Nociceptors in are sensitive strong mechanical stimuli pain-producing substances, some which released from tissue during pathological alterations. Substances bradykinin prostaglandin E2 have a sensitizing rather than excitatory action increase the sensitivity stimuli. sensitization assumed be mechanism tenderness lesioned (there also causing tenderness). Clinical examples include trauma, acute inflammation, intermittent claudication. ATP, protons (H+ ions), bradykinin, substances known inflamed tissue. Ischemic contractions elicit but excite just small subpopulation free nerve endings. Non-nociceptive endings likely an important function adjustment respiration circulation muscular exercise.
