摘要: A 45-year-old female suffered from increasing dyspnea during exercise and edema of lower extremities January 2000. She had undergone mitral valve replacement with StarrEdwards ball prosthesis (model 6320) due to regurgitation 25 years ago. The cardiac catheterization echocardiography documented mitral, aortic tricuspid valves grade III. Left ventricular ejection fraction rate was 49% the pressures CVP, RA, RV PA were also increased. Laboratory examination showed slight hemolytic anemia. Double (ATS valve) annuloplasty carried out in April Strut cloth wear confirmed at operation. Her postoperative course uneventful. We hereby review published paper all cases an implanted Starr-Edwards who required redo over 15 follow-up. consider that injury is main cause for reoperation it usually associated anemia; not only involves position but frequently follow-up patients can be corrected by reoperation. Cloth should concerned those surviving have received long-term (Ann Thorac Cardiovasc Surg 2002; 8: 311‐5)
