摘要: Although fish and seafood are well known for their nutritional benefits, they contain contaminants that might affect human health. Organic lipid-soluble arsenic species, so called arsenolipids, belong to the emerging in these food items; toxicity has yet be systematically studied. Here, we apply vivo model Caenorhabditis elegans assess effects of two arsenic-containing hydrocarbons (AsHC), a saturated fatty acid (AsFA), an triacylglyceride (AsTAG) whole organism. all arsenolipids were highly bioavailable elegans, only AsHCs substantially metabolized thioxylated or shortened metabolic products induced significant toxicity, affecting both survival development. Furthermore, several fold more potent as compared toxic reference arsenite. This study clearly indicates need full hazard identification subclasses whether pose risk
