摘要: Damaging effects of reactive oxygen species on living systems are well documented. They include oxidative attack vital cell constituents. Chronic ethanol administration is able to induce an stress in the central nervous system. In present study, 16–18 week-old male albino rats Wistar strain were exposed different concentration for 4 weeks. This exposure showed profound effect body weight. Ascorbic acid level; and activities alkaline phosphatase aspartate transaminase brain dependent exposure. ingestion elicits statistically significant increase thiobarbituric substances level decrease gluatathione brain. It reduces superoxide dismutase, catalase, glutathione peroxidase, reductase a dose manner. However, histological examination could not reveal any pathophysiological changes. Therefore, we conclude that biochemical alterations related parameters respond early alcoholism than histopathological changes
