摘要: ObjectiveThe role of endografts in the treatment extensive superficial femoral artery (SFA) occlusive disease is enlarging. Results are limited by occurrence edge stenosis. The aim study was to retrospectively evaluate efficacy stenosis inserted for SFA disease. MethodsAll patients, treated between November 2001 and December 2011, with a self-expandable polytetrafluoroethylene-endograft were gathered prospective database three hospitals. incidence primary re-edge after noted comparison made results percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) extension endograft. ResultsA total 88 patients presented 115 stenoses, which majority within 1 year insertion endograft (mean time 10.78.2 months). Seventy-three stenoses (63%) manifested at proximal 42 distal (37%). 1-year restenosis and/or occlusion 45% PTA 43% extension, patency rates 81% 92%, respectively. restenosis/occlusion 12% higher two years compared (55% vs. 43%, respectively). ConclusionEdge may well be either or both high, but acceptable. Aggressive surveillance needed during first insertion. (c) 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
