摘要: Background Cigarette smoking has been shown to temporarily alter cerebral flow velocity and vasomotor reactivity, so the aim of this study was assess acute effects a single cigarette on common carotid artery (CCA) hemodynamics in healthy nonsmokers. Method Results Using 7.0 MHz linear transducer computed sonography system, CCA hemodynamics, including diameter left right CCA, peak systolic velocity, maximum end-diastolic time-averaged pulsatility index, resistivity volume, area CCAs, were measured 16 nonsmokers before immediately after cigarette. Compared with baseline, heart rate blood pressure significantly increased, diameter, volume each unchanged, index altered smoking. In addition, Conclusions nonsmokers, probably as consequence enhanced adrenergic activity. (Circ J 2004; 68: 1127 - 1131)
