摘要: Clinical experience suggests that reported childhood adversity, adult experiences of violence, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) are common among patients with borderline personality (BPD). While research findings support the relationship between adversity BPD (1, 2), only seven cross-sectional studies have assessed prevalence PTSD in samples criteria-defined (3–9). In general, these found was quite common, a range 25–55.9% median 46.9%. addition, two longitudinal course sample well-defined (10, 11). first studies—the Collaborative Longitudinal Personality Disorders Study or CLPS—it remitted more rapidly over years prospective follow-up than those unremitted (10). second McLean Adult Development MSAD, it declined significantly six but remained higher axis II comparison subjects (11). It also absence at baseline significant predictor faster time-to-remission BPD.
