Kinetics of proton transfer in ice via the pH-jump method: Evaluation of the proton diffusion rate in polycrystalline doped ice

摘要: Abstract The value of the proton diffusion coefficient D H + in ice was extracted from diffusion-controlled rate k recombination reaction RO − 3 O → ROH 2 polycrystalline doped ice. At −10°C, estimated to lie between 3.5×10 −6 and 1.3×10 −5 cm s −1 , well below corresponding (4.1 ± 0.1)×10 found supercooled water.
