摘要: Results: In GA, the sensitivities of PCR and microhaematocrit were 100% 82.4% their specifici- ties 97% 100%, respectively. GB, sensitivity was 73.8% with a specificity 100%. Pre-therapy parasitic loads ranged from 12.5 to 125 000 parasite genomic equivalents/mL blood in GA turned negative all treated pre-therapy positive patients before or at end treatment, which followed by seronegativation 10/10 3/5 children initiating therapy 7 months 2 years age but 0/16 an older age. Two out latter occasionally during post-treatment, suggesting no parasitological response. Out nine patients, four seronegative after suggest- ing that undetermined undetectable burdens may lead better post-treatment prognosis. Conclusions: useful for sensitive diagnosis monitoring, allowing early detection refractory cases.
