摘要: Previous studies have led to the identification of two molecular forms GnRH (GnRH-I and II) in brain sea lamprey, Petromyzon marinus. From analysis these forms, primary structure GnRH-I amino acid composition GnRH-II were determined. We now isolated a third form (GnRH-III) from this species that is different -II. The GnRH-III pGlu-His-Trp-Ser-His-Asp-Trp-Lys- Pro-Gly-NH2. A synthetic decapeptide with sequence was chromatographically identical natural GnRH-III. Intraperitoneal injection lamprey (0.1 microgram/g) produced significant (P < 0.05) elevation plasma progesterone (31% over basal values) female lampreys comparable by same dose (36% basal). estradiol (244% basal) significantly less than G...
