A supported titanium postmetallocene catalyst: Effect of selected conditions on ethylene polymerization

摘要: Ethylene polymerization with a titanium complex [N,N-ethylenebis(3-methoxysalicylideneiminato)titanium dichloride] immobilized on the magnesium support formula MgCl2(THF)0.32(Et2AlCl)0.36 was studied. In particular, effects of temperature, monomer pressure, and time activity catalyst polyethylene properties (molecular weight its distribution, melting point, crystallinity, bulk density) were evaluated. The findings investigations prove that studied supported is highly active in ethylene polymerization, increases increasing temperature pressure. Moreover, stability catalytic systems dependent activator type used. Me3Al, when employed as an activator, makes system undergo no deactivation practice. coupled MAO turned out less stable. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Appl Polym Sci, 2012
