摘要: The present study describes the clinical and immunological features of children with Hib vaccine failure, who were identified through national surveillance between 1996 2001 in Europe, Israel Australia. True failure was defined as invasive disease occurring ≥2 weeks after one dose, given first birthday, or ≥1 week doses, at <1 year age. Of 423 cases (representing 0.2 per 100,000 child-years risk) reported, 330 (78%) had received three doses life developed a median age 28 months. remaining 93, 48 two infancy, 34 four including booster, 11 single dose 12 months These 12, 33 71 months, respectively. In total, 47 out 258 (18%) available information an underlying medical problem (including prematurity) 53 161 (33%) immunoglobulin deficiency. Convalescent antibody concentrations above putative protective concentration 1.0 mg/L 147/194 (76%) children; low associated both presence young time disease. Almost all additional antibodies concentrations. Thus, is rare, but can occur any immunization schedule. Children should have convalescent measured infection receive vaccination, if required.
