摘要: Abstract The resonance Raman spectra of acid and alkaline metarhodopsins octopus were measured. metarhodopsin exhibited the Schiff base CN stretching band at 1655 cm−1 in H2O 1625 2H2O, therefore is shown to be protonated. CC was observed 1548 1572 for metarhodopsins, respectively. Other lines assigned from data Cookingham et al. (Cookingham, R.E., Lewis, A. Lemley, A.T. (1978) Biochemistry 17, 4699–4711). Frequencies some structure-sensitive differed among octopus, squid bovine metarhodopsins; such differences may important interpreting presence optical activity but its absence metarhodopsins.
