Paired helical filaments and the cytoplasmic-nuclear interface in Alzheimer's disease.

摘要: The cytoplasmic-nuclear interface has been investigated by conventional thin sectioning electron microscopy of neurons from frontal lobe biopsies 13 patients with Alzheimer's disease. Nine were in the early and intermediate stages disease four advanced stage. Fascicles paired helical filament-like strands filaments appose nuclear envelope, pore complexes perinuclear polysomes. Paired filament profiles have also identified nucleoplasm. These observations indicate that and, consequently, relationships between cytoplasm nucleus, might be impaired
