摘要: Effects of alkaline hydrogen peroxide (AHP) treatment on cellulose crystallinity and cell wall phenolic monomer monosaccharide composition were measured using cotton wheat straw (WS). Two WS treatments used in this study, Type I WS, for which pH is not regulated during AHP treatment, II at 11.5 +/- .2 treatment. Wheat had a lower degree than cotton, but no differences occurred between treated untreated substrates. Alkali-labile nitrobenzene-extractable concentrations generally compared with WS. Concentrations glucose higher xylose arabinose Types Disappearance alkali-labile monomers monosaccharides by wethers fed diets containing (Exp. 1) or 2) AHP-treated determined. Apparent digestibility before the duodenum, glucose, total tract, was greatest (P less .05) when sheep both experiments. In Exp. 2, disappearance duodenum tract diets. Treatment modified increased digestion sheep.
