摘要: Abstract Although a wide variety of population models commonly predict chaotic dynamics, chaos has not been widely observed in natural populations. One reason for this disparity may be that generally have represented the genetics consequent from sexual reproduction. In paper, are very simply by one locus and two alleles giving three genotypes. Population growth each genotype is described Ricker equation. When mating occurs only between individuals same genotype, linkage populations different through production homozygote offspring heterozygous parents results reduced propensity to exhibit chaos. The addition small amounts random (across genotypes) reduces expectation still further.
