摘要: The main components of urban population growth in Bangladesh are examined order to determine the relative importance natural increase in-migration and territorial annexation contributing from 1961 1974. It is shown that particularly rural-urban migration has been major component over this period caused primarily by disparities economic social opportunities between rural areas. author also examines regional context relation city size. consequences continuing rapid urbanization for both areas countrys socioeconomic development plans discussed.
