摘要: Abstract Fabrication of an impervious adherent polymeric coating over metallic surfaces has become a robust strategy for the protection metals from hazards corrosion. As part this strategy, in present work, poly-2-amino-1,3,4-thiadiazole (p-ATD) films were electrodeposited copper surface by cyclic voltammetric (CV) technique to prevent its corrosion 3.5% NaCl medium. Further, effect addition metal oxides such as (La2O3, CeO2, TiO2 and nano TiO2) on was also studied. The composite coatings resulted blockage charge transfer at metal/electrolyte interface which suppressed dissolution corrosive electropolymerised characterized using FT-IR Raman spectra revealed formation polymer through C–N Cu–N linkages. X-ray diffraction (XRD) studies confirmed incorporation into p-ATD. morphological protective layer p-ATD oxide composites Cu..
