摘要: The concept of a group headaches whose pathophysiological focus revolves around the trigeminal-autonomic reflex fills useful gap in characterizing number primary headache syndromes. Broadly these syndromes involve activation trigeminovascular nociceptive pathways with cranial autonomic activation. Clinically, this physiology predicts pain some combination lacrimation, conjunctival injection. nasal congestion, or eyelid oedema. Several( rite neurovascular headaches, notably cluster paroxysmal hemicrania and short-lasting neuralgiform injection tearing (SUNCT), seem to immediately fit classification. This also explains why patients migraine present features. tmd is thus broadly for clinicians seeking understanding headaches. Given known pathophysiology one c can place various treatments aimed nr preventing indeed treating acute attacks, into context.
