摘要: This study describes international coal transportation from a mining site in the South Gobi, Mongolia to Japan, which is located approximately 8,000 km west. The logistics of origin final destination comprises four stages: by truck, Mongolian railway, Russian and vessel. Specifically, performance measures such as total time inventory levels at transshipment between two consecutive means are examined. A procedure improve efficiency proposed.
