摘要: Abstract We report on the synthesis and characterization of Eu 3+ -doped Y 2 O 3 nanocrystalline particles prepared by oxalate (co)-precipitation method. Based thermogravimetric analyses coupled with mass spectrometry, correlated FT-IR X-ray diffraction (XRD) measurements performed oxalate-type precursor, a thermal decomposition mechanism has been proposed. The yttrium oxy-carbonate formation, as an intermediate product during process, was evidenced. XRD analysis indicated formation crystalline cubic structure at temperature above 900 K after complete intermediate. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) investigations sustain nature :Eu particles, spherical polyhedral shapes, average size in range 5–10 nm. photoluminescence (PL) have revealed strong red emission peak 613 nm corresponding to 5 D 0 → 7 F forced electric dipole transition ions under excitation wavelength 254 nm. strongly increased increase calcination from 773 K, when process started.
